Blossom Plaza

Blossom Plaza is a mixed-use, transit-oriented development on a 2-acre site in the heart of Los Angeles’ Chinatown district. Davies Associates developed a comprehensive signage and graphics program for this gateway project consisting of 262 apartments, 20,000 square feet of ground level retail space, three levels of subterranean parking, and a large urban plaza with direct connection to the Metro Gold line station. The bold and colorful graphics draw inspiration from paper cuts of Chinese Zodiac imagery, and large mosaic panels created out of custom colored ceramic tiles graphically depict details from traditional Chinese painting.
